Dr. Abdullateef Abdullah Alshehri
assistant prof.
I am interested in studying bacteria and microorganisms in clinical settings, recognizing their direct impact on patient safety and the burden of healthcare-associated infections. This field is increasingly important given bacteria’s rapid ability to adapt through mutations and the exchange of genetic material, leading to more virulent and treatment-resistant strains and making their control a pressing priority within healthcare facilities.
My research interests are also closely aligned with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs, which serve as the first line of defense in reducing microbial transmission in healthcare environments.
